The tiles, styles, label fonts, icons and map renderer are served from this site. The map data is real OpenStreetMap; nothing here is from Grab or Google.

Cloudflare’s existing site analytics also loads its own beacon. It does not supply the map.

Edge cache check

Requests the tile under the map’s centre once more, skipping the browser cache, and shows the server’s own cache headers. Run it twice: the second answer should be a HIT with no R2 reads.

Tiles and style

Vector tiles from a Protomaps basemap build, cut to Malaysia and served from our own server. Style built with @protomaps/basemaps (BSD 3-Clause, data notes) in Better Tuju’s colours.

Labels and icons

Noto Sans glyphs, SIL Open Font License 1.1, from protomaps/basemaps-assets. Characters outside those ranges, such as Chinese or Tamil, are drawn with your device’s fonts. Map icons derived from tangrams/icons (MIT). Page text in Figtree and Bricolage Grotesque, SIL Open Font License 1.1 (Figtree, Bricolage Grotesque).

MapLibre GL JS 6.15.0, BSD 3-Clause.
